Only the Suggestion type of Proximity Open works for me. What should I do to make the Automatic type work?
First, confirm that you have Automatic Opening enabled in your app. To do this, look at the top of the Proximity Opening activation screen. There, you'll find the "Switch" to select one type (Suggested Opening or Automatic Opening).
Therefore, for the Automatic type to work, you must select it, read all its instructions carefully for its correct operation, and activate it.
On the other hand:
-If you have confirmed that you have the Automatic type correctly activated,
- You have done several tests following the instructions given in the App,
- And you still get the “Opening Suggestion” sometimes.
This could be because your phone isn't sending the information about your status change from "Away from Home" to "At Home" in a timely manner. When this happens, the app will always send an "Opening Suggestion" by default to avoid false positives. Remember to consistently take into account all the suggestions given in the app to avoid this.
If this still persists, please contact us through the suggestions section of the App, and inform us of your case, adding what brand and model of mobile phone you have and the model of Operating System (e.g. Samsung, S10, Android 10.1).
If your phone is running iOS (iPhone): For a more in-depth analysis, please send us your proximity logs from the app. Go to the proximity setting for the door you want to analyze. At the bottom, there's a button to share it with us. Once you've submitted it, please let us know so we can proceed.
