If you're looking for the door to open when you're even closer:
It is not possible to decrease the distance of the inner ring, since the geofencing technology of iOS and Android phones does not provide enough precision.
But you can make it open when you're closer than 70 meters by activating the "Opening Delay." It's found in the Proximity settings and causes the door to open by proximity X seconds after you've passed through the inner ring on your way home.
Thus, it opens even closer to you. 😎
