What should I do to install the sensors and know if the door is open or closed?

Door sensors are a valuable part of your HOMYHUB installation. With these, you can monitor the actual status of your door (open/closed) from the HOMYHUB app wherever you are, or through app integrations (such as Alexa, Google, or Siri).


So, wherever you are, you'll be able to see how your garage is doing, and if you remotely open the door—e.g., to let the mailman in to drop off a package—you'll be able to see how the door is doing.

To do this, you just have to follow the next steps in the App:

1- On the main screen (Your Garages), press the “3 dots” icon in the upper right corner and there select “+ Install” which is where the installation wizard for HOMYHUB devices and their accessories is located.
 


2- On the next screen, choose "Sensors - Install" and it will guide you step by step.


Once you install the sensor, you'll also be able to see on the same card for your door(s) whether the lock is open or closed, depending on the condition of your door. You'll also be able to access more features such as "Door Open Alert," which can notify you if it has been left open, or "Auto-record videos" every time the door is opened and closed, making your garage more secure.
