What are the technical specifications of the HOMYHUB GARAGE wired connection?

If in addition to the step-by-step help we give you in the App installation wizard (including the specific one in your manual), you want to know technically how the cable connection of the D1 and D2 ports of the HOMYHUB GARAGE works, it is based on the following principles:

- The cables are usually connected to the terminal block, terminal, or accessory connection enabled on all garage automation systems or control panels. Specifically, to the connection labelled: Wall Push Buttons/Sequential/Step-by-Step/External Control Receivers, of the following type: N.O (Normally Open) - N.O. (Normally Open), No Voltage, Dry Pulse.

- HOMYHUB GARAGE on its D1 and D2 ports technically emits: A voltage-free, dry, normally open pulse, duration 0.5 sec.

- In their respective connection ports indicated in the manual, the cables (Red and black or Red and yellow) from HOMYHUB to the motor can be installed in any order in the respective connections, since these cables have no polarity.

- If something else is already connected to those ports, connect the HOMYHUB cables simultaneously with those cables already there.

- Most motors include a tab or screwdriver to secure the wires to the terminal block or connectors, as shown in the reference video in the app.

- In the case of Comfort brand motors, where the connector does not have tabs or screws on the terminal block but rather a wide port, to secure the cables simply push them all the way in with another cable or a non-conductive material.
