# I have installed the HOMYHUB GARAGE by copying the remote control, but the door does not open when I activate it with the app. What should I do?

If you have installed your HOMYHUB GARAGE by copying the remote control, and the HOMYHUB GARAGE has copied it, but when you operate the door, even though it says OK, the door does not open, it may be the following:

- **Your controller is not compatible:**

 Check if your remote is compatible in the compatible remotes section of our app's installation wizard. You can see it in the app when you click on the "Install by copying a remote" button on the "Items we need" screen, and then click the "Check" button to see the list of compatible remotes.

- **If your controller appears on our list of compatible controllers:**

It may be that the remote is in poor condition. Try again the copying process, if possible, with a newer remote if you have one.

If your remote is on our list of compatible remotes and the problem persists after trying the above, please let us know your remote brand and model, and include a photo to our email: hola@homyhub.com to study your case.

In case it is not compatible or the HOMYHUB GARAGE cannot copy your remote, y**ou can always install it yourself in just a few minutes**.
